What fills your days?
As a photographer and designer, my days are typically filled with taking some time in the morning to make myself coffee and walk my dog "ginger", sifting and responding through emails, and coordinating various projects. I love contributing and serving in community work in the city of Wilmington, collaborating with various artists,and encouraging thoughtful conversations surrounding health, healing, and cultivating healthy relationships. As a designer, I am the IIDA DE city center director for IIDA PANJDE and have served as a board member for the last 2 years.
What are some things about yourself that you're proud of and that we should know about you?
Some of the things that I am proud of about myself include, following my gut and listening to god on taking the leap of faith in leaving my full time design job to pursue photography and design freelance full-time.
What led you to say "yes" to being a GGH Brand Ambassador?
I really love the conversations and safe spacesbeing creating amongst strong and driven women, who are eager to change the narrative of what health, and wellness looks like as individuals, and together as a community.
What's your favorite way to use the GGH cards?
During theBA Brandi's event for Hike and Heal, I truly enjoyed pulling the card decks prior to starting the hike and after. This gave us guidance to think about thought provoking questions and discuss as a group, let our our thoughts through physical activity and then revisit the questions at the end with a stretch and deep breathe.
What are you most excited about in terms of using the cards in groups?I am most excited about using the Card Decks to continue the conversations of health, wellness and mindfulness. To give others an opportunity to let go of, talk about, and discuss anything that might be on their hearts. Ultimately, I am excited to offer healing through discussions.
